Cristobal Balenciaga

Balenciaga (lived from 1895 to 1972) was a spanish designer known as the master of haute couture. His avant-garde designs makes him very unique and special in this field .Balenciaga brought a romantic spanish aesthetic to 1950s paris, popularising lace, the bolero and red & black . He was also the founder of Balenciaga’s fashion house.

Christian Dior

Christian dior (lived from 1905 to 1957) was a french couturier who changed the focus of fashion overnight. This focus shifted to include wasp waists,slim shoulders and full skirts . His designs gave woman greater freedom of movement. Dior introduced so many elegant looks for woman during his short career, which ended by his untimely death in 1957. One of his iconic designs is the ‘Bar suit’ . He is the founder of one of the most beautiful fashion houses, the ‘ House of Dior’.
