Elsa schiaparelli
This genius Italian designer (lived from 1890 to 1973 ) is still very well known for her surrealist fashions and also some kind of witty accessories . Elsa broke all the rules to create some kind of daring clothing and in fact, this was appealing to a vast number of people especially fashion addicts . Her associations with Salvador Dali is very inspiring. Two of their iconic designs are the Lobster dress and the high-heel hat.
Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel
Coco chanel, the French designer, (lived from1883 to 1971) shifted the prevailing aesthetic of the 1920s from some kind of ornate clothing to a sleek and modern look.She is known for her classic innovations like women’s suit and quilted purse. However, the house of chanel was closed during the second world war but she made a comeback at the age of 70. One of her iconic designs is the “little black dress”.
